Although it’s still relatively early in the season, there have been 2 goals recently that could arguably be the best goal of the year (definitely in the top 10). The first goal is by David Perron where he dekes out the NY Islanders defence and scores while Mark Streit is left crashing into Roloson.

The next one is by Steve Stamkos against the Anaheim Ducks. Here you see shooting the puck and while he is on the ground he is able to bat the puck in the air and score. Definitely some great hand-eye coordination.

Like I said, we are only a quarter way through the season…I suspect that other great scorers like Ovechkin or Crosby may show some nice goals as the season progresses. But for now…I think these two goals should be near or at the top!
