First off I wanted to wish all our American friends a Happy Belated Thanksgiving and today should be a busy one with so many Black Friday Deals going on everywhere. Anyhow, lately I’ve been looking at new phones these days because I’m contemplating the switch to a new phone (though I’ve been happy with my iPhone for about a year, I think it’s time for a change…especially since EVERYONE has one!). What is surprising is that there aren’t really many smartphones in the market that really match up with the iPhone…even though other companies have tried to create their own phones to compete with it. Recently, I’ve seen videos of the new HTC HD2 and I gotta say that this is definitely appealing.

I once owned an older HTC Tytn with touchscreen, stylus and sliding keyboard, but it started to become non-functional after a year and a half usage. Though the revamped Windows Mobile OS does looks appealing, I’m just scared about the longevity of the device…especially since there has been no announcement that this will come to Canada (meaning no warranty). Well, here’s hoping that HTC will work further towards creating a phone that is a worthy opponent to the whole iPhone craze.
