Though today is the release of Ubisoft’s highly anticipated, Assassin’s Creed II, there is another game that is being released which may do equally well, or even better! It’s called EyePet. EyePet is like a virtual pet game similar to the old Tamagotchi or even Nintendogs. However, what makes this game unique is the fact that it utilizes the Playstation Eye camera for unparalleled interactivity. We’ve previously seen Microsoft unveil their Project Natal during E3, but Sony looks to be getting a headstart in the virtual AI department.

Though I currently do not own a Playstation Eye, I’m seriously considering on buying one for games like EyePet and foresee other games utilizing this technology in the future.
