I remember becoming fascinated with the whole “drifting” scene when I watched the popular Japanese anime/manga Initial D. Well, in the video above, it’s being hailed as the “perfect drift” or the “best drift ever”. We see M. Kawabata drive his Nissan S13 into the corner, but since he entered so quickly, his rear end enters the drift first and he still managed to control it (known as a “reverse entry drift”). I gotta say, it looks like something you’d see only in movies or video games because it was AWESOME! Perhaps drifting will make it’s way back to Canada someday and people will appreciate the skill needed to perform these kinda tricks.
