As mentioned before, SquareEnix has decided to change Front Mission this time around by providing a third-person shooter experience in the new Front Mission Evolved. Though it might not be evident from the above trailer, but gamers were able to try out a demo of FME at the TGS 2009. The gameplay is action-based but isn’t as fast paced as it would be made out to be on the video above. There is also the chance for the gamer to play as a soldier outside of the mech and being armed with a missle launcher or machine gun.

Though the game is scheduled for a Spring 2010 release, hopefully SquareEnix will be able to polish the game more to provide a more exciting experience for the gamer. It’s been awhile since I’ve played a decent mecha game.
