For the upcoming game for Insomniac’s Rachet and Clank series, they had a contest whereby fans could make submissions for a new weapon and the company would select one to be in their next title. Enter the “Spiral of Death” weapon, which is basically a cannon which shoots a spinning saw blade at enemies and it boomerangs back to Rachet (like a yo-yo effect). Definitely most of the charm of the game comes from the unique weaponry and arsenal that Ratchet carries around with him in each game. Well, we’ll see the Sprial of Death amongst other weapons once Ratchet and Clank: A Crack In Time is released at the end of 2009.
