It looks as though Microsoft has been on a roll by attracting all these big name JRPGs for their XBox 360 console (like Final Fantasy XIII, Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery) and Star Ocean: The Last Hope is no exception. With amazing graphics and an expansive world to explore, SO:TLH is a great game in the long line of SquareEnix titles. What is also good is the fact that since this game is a prequel to the Star Ocean series, it helps many gamers get into the game without having to know anything about the previous storyline. Another big plus is the fact there are still multiple endings which adds to the longevity of the game.

Lately with the influx of other great games, it’s definitely a difficult choice to make when choosing how to spend your hard earned cash. If you are really into the JRPG genre and are a fan of the Star Ocean saga, then it’s definitely a no brainer, however, if you don’t have the time to actually play the game through and try to get all the endings, it might be in your best interest to look for something that requires less commitment in time.
