I am not really one to collect shoes but recently I found out that Jordan Brand (Michael Jordan’s shoe brand) had released special Countdown two packs which contained Jordan’s famous Nike branded shoes. What is unique about each pack is that since each version of Jordan Nike shoes are numbered, each pair would add up to “23″, or Michael Jordan’s retired jersey number. Apparently, out of all the packs that have been released, the most recent one, the Jordan Countdown Pack which has both the Jordan XI and Jordan XII, is arguably the most sought after pack of the whole series.

Apparently, the Jordan XI were originally made famous during Michael Jordan’s appearence in the movie “Space Jam” and have been popular ever since. As for the Jordan XII, I suppose it’s a bonus when you purchase the XI. However, the release seemed to be immensely popular to the point that the pack was sold in a matter of minutes worldwide. The retail price of $310 USD is a steal considering that the packs are reaching double that on eBay.
