With Street Fighter IV released in Japan and fans like myself still eagerly anticipating not only the North American release, but also the release on the home console. There has been much speculation on possible unlockable characters in the game, and it was revealed that Gouken (Ken and Ryu’s Master) is a playable character. Recently, the above photo was taken by a gamer at the N.E.X.T Game Expo and if you look closely at the bottom row (second from the left), it looks as though Rose is a playable character!

Now many may wonder why Capcom decided to choose Rose as opposed to a plethora of other characters in the Street Fighter Universe. My thinking is that Rose is probably just the tip of the iceberg and that with later updates (like Street Fighter IV Turbo or Street Fighter IV Championship Edition etc.), we’ll be introduced to other old (but not forgotten) characters.
