Recently, Nintendo released the new DSi handheld console in Japan with a lot of excitement and cool new improvements. What was also discovered was that the DSi seemed to have protection in place to disallow the usage of flashcarts and essentially not allow homebrew and game backups. However, it was revealed in the video online that a group called Yasusoft has found an exploit in the new DSi to show “Hello World” message. Though the hack is in it’s early stages, it definitely opens the door for people to start creating homebrew for this portable. I guess many people (including myself) aren’t really surprised by the news, I’m actually surprised it even took them THIS long…=)
