With the upcoming Midway title, Mortal Kombat vs. DC, many gamers and comic book fans are anxiously waiting for the chance to use MK characters like Scorpion and Sub-Zero, to battle against classic childhood heroes like Batman and Superman. To get fans even more excited, Midway is releasing a “Kollector’s Edition”, which will come in special packaging and feature an exclusive removable print designed by Alex Ross as well as bonus video content. As you can see from the video above, Ross still hand draws and airbrushes his work. What’s amazing is how realistic the images are and that he doesn’t use computers or software to create it.

In addition, John Tobias (co-creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise), returns to sketch a 16-page comic book to be published by DC Comics that chronicles the surprising events that lead up to the crossover of the two universes. Even with all these cool extras, I’m just hoping the game will be fun to play! lol…
