This coming Sunday will mark the 13th anniversary of the Command & Conquer franchise. So if you over to www.redalert3.com on August 31st, you can download the original C & C for absolutely free! Also to further promote RE3, if you preorder the game on the site, you’ll also get other added bonuses like the abilty to download RE2 for free and also free desktop wallpapers. I’m guessing the launch of RE3 will be successful nonetheless, but all these freebies will definitely sweeten the pot. I would suggest that people be prepared to wait for their downloads since it always gets busy when free stuff is involved.
