So during the two weeks when the world’s eyes were focused on China during the 29th Olympic Games, it was fascinating to see all the technological advancements from the Bird’s Nest Stadium to the Aquatic Cube. However, for those of us who don’t have the pleasure of travelling to the far east, there is also another interesting site…a big video screen.
It’s not just any ordinary screen, it’s actually a 24,000 sq. ft. screen dubbed the GreenPix Zero Energy Media Wall. What is extraordinary about the screen is that it’s a solar-powered LED-wall which means it can run indefinitely by drawing power from the sun. Definitely a neat attraction as it shows dazzling images but is also environmentally friendly too. The idea of showing a videogame on the wall sounds like an interesting proposition as well. Other cities should take notice and perhaps have their own Zero Energy Media Wall of their own.
