I suppose if you go to any tech site today you’ll see some kind of article pertaining to the release of the new iPhone 3G. Right now as I speak, I’m still struggling with the idea of upgrading to the new 3G iPhone because of all the publicity and hype going on (even a couple of my coworkers were planning getting it on the first day as well). Plus with Rogers recently revealing that they are providing (for a limited time) an add-on data plan of 6 GB/month for $30/month. Not overly exciting, but definitely a big improvement from before (I actually feel sorry for other countries like Australia, which have terrible data plans).

Anyhow, with the release of the 3G iPhone, there is also the release of the new 2.0 firmware which includes the highly anticipated App Store. Though I’m not particularly excited about having to pay for iPhone applications, this at least helps to encourage the creation of better apps for the iPhone. The Super Monkey Ball game by Sega does certainly look nice and I hope future releases will look just as nice.

Anyhow, here’s a video review from USA Today:
