So last night I watched The Incredible Hulk movie with a group of friends and I was expecting it to be better than the previous movie which was directed by Ang Lee. My overall impression of the movie was that it was definitely better than last one, but it didn’t seem to “wow” me as the Iron Man movie did. The action and visual effects were stunning and it was definitely interesting to see familiar Toronto locales in the movie (Yonge St. and the University of Toronto). I think Edward Norton did a good job as Bruce Banner and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross.

Though the climactic battle between Abomination and the Hulk was fairly short, I think it was definitely well choreographed…but I think the whole highlight was the guest appearence of Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) at the end of film which again hinted on an Avenger movie. The possiblities of comic book crossovers in upcoming Marvel films are certainly going to excite hardcore comic fans and I will for certain be in line for that time. Anyhow, I definitely suggest comic fans to watch The Incredible Hulk because I think this time around, they did the character justice. Now I think it’s time to hope for a Captain America and Thor movie..and then the stage is set for The Avengers!!!
