I always found it cool that the computer interface in Star Trek was touch screen and voice activated. Though it was cool to have the wallpaper and sounds for my computer, it just didn’t feel the same. Recently, I found that someone actually created their own LCARS (an acronym for Library Computer Access and Retrieval System) computer interface. Check it out!

It appears to be in a foreign language, but it’s indeed the LCARS from Star Trek. I’m not sure if it actually controls anything in particular, but it’s definitely a Trekkie fans dream. Now if they only can add the voice of Majel Barrett to the interface, I’m sold! =)
