So for those of you who are familiar with the Google Earth Application online, recently they’ve added the new Google Sky feature online, whereby you can watch the night sky in the comfort of your computer. Just like the Google Earth site, Google Sky allows you to zoom into particular parts of space and see dazzling images which were taken via the Hubble Telescope. So I guess for those budding astronomers who don’t have the means or equipment to see the planets and stars, this is probably the next best thing. For those who want to survey the Moon and the planet Mars, there are Google Moon and Google Mars available for people to view.

Now I guess it’s time for me to look for far off places like Alderaan, Tatooine, Hoth, Endor etc…lol.
