For fans of RPG games, we all know that in order to replenish the stength, magic and or life of our virtual characters, we usually purchase potions and consume them. What if you can actually consume potions in real life? Well, recently, a company called Harcos Inc. has created an energy drink called the “Mana Energy Potion“. Aesthetically, the bottle does indeed look like a potion, and apparently the liquid changes colour once the vitamin B-12 within oxidizes. The amount of the special energy ingredient, caffeine, is equivalent to about 2 Red Bull Energy drink per serving and provides up to 5-8 hours of “jitter-free” energy (for continued role-playing!). Though it’s neat to say you have your own energy potions, at $7 for two 40 mL bottles, it’s probably recommended for hardcore fans. I wonder if this is going to be an ongoing trend for soft-drink companies to create “gaming drinks” since we’ve seen the Mountain Dew Halo 3 “Game Fuel” and also with the Final Fantasy XII “Potion” drink in Japan.
