Now that the new year is in full swing, it means that it’s time for the Computer Electronic Show (CES) 2008 to start. The convention is held in Las Vegas, Nevada and it runs from January 7th - 10th. During those 4 days, businesses and manufacturers of the tech industry show-off their cool new gadgets and products for the upcoming year. Since I’m not actually attending the CES 2008 convention, many major tech sites and blogs are currently reporting live from the show so you can take a look at some of the new product offerings at the following links:

-Engadget
-CNet
-CrunchGear

From what I’ve read thus far, there are quite a few neat products introduced so far, like the Panasonic 150 inch plasma display, the Art.Lebedev Optimus Maximus keyboard, Texas Instruments Picoprojector and the Alienware curved monitor.

What was really popular was the video from Bill Gate’s Keynote speech presentation at the CES 2008. It is apparently Bill Gates last keynote speech and his last year in which he’ll work hands-on full-time at Microsoft. Bill Gates shows a video presentation of how his last day went with cameos from celebrities such as Bono, Jay-Z, Steven Spielberg, John Stewart, George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, Al Gore and even presidential candidates Barak Obama and Hilary Clinton. Check it out:
