As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I had become addicted to playing the flash game, Desktop Defence, whereby you build weapons and turrents to prevent the enemy (computer) from having their forces cross from one end of the stage to the other. I guess turrent-defence games is a popular genre among PC flash games because I found a site full of these games! Though the weapons, units and stages vary from game to game, the basic objective is pretty much the same.
The site is called Turret Defence Games (while hosted on a site called gameshot.org) where all of the games are available to be played, for FREE! If you are tired of being the defender, you can play the role of the attacker! If you try the game, Anti-Turret Defence, you send waves of units through the defensive gaunlet and try to get the set amount of units to the exit.
Though the games mentioned don’t have superb graphics, storyline or sound, the gameplay itself is fun and ADDICTIVE! I think that these games should seriously be kept away from the office, else you’ll end up getting NO work done.
