Recently, Amazon recently introduced their new product called the Kindle. It’s a nifty little device which allows you to download 80,000+ titles which include books, newspapers, magazines and even blogs in minutes. What makes this ebook reader standout ahead of the rest of the pack is that you can access and purchase a huge library of titles virtually anywhere you can connect a Sprint cellphone. The reason for this is that the Kindle does not utilize Wi-Fi, but rather modile broadband, which is entirely free courtesy of Amazon.com. What’s also is great is that most titles are within the $9.99 and under price range which allows more users to buy more books than before.
What is also neat is that you can access online resources such as Wikipedia and the Kindle can be used as a basic websurfing device with unlimited free usage! Currently, the downside is that all these services are only available in the United States (sucks for us Canadians), but you can still purchased books anywhere in the world and then sync your Kindle to your PC. At the present time, the Kindle is selling for $399.00 USD, however, they are currently sold out on Amazon.com. Right now the Kindle is a hot item and I can definitely forsee it being more widely used in the future, though I can foresee other companies trying to do the same in the future if the Kindle becomes a hit.
