I know that I’ve always enjoyed optical illusions since I was a kid and while looking at a few sites, it’s sorta rekindled an interest in them. Here are some of the optical illusions which I thought were interesting:

Take a look at the picture on the left, you’ll see a checker board and your eyes perceive Square A and B as different shades of gray. However, when you see the two square bridged together, you can now see that Square A and B are the exact same colour and shade!

In this picture, if you stare at the black dot in the middle and move away from or toward the screen, the two rings surrounding the dot seem to be moving in opposite directions.

Read the words in the triangle, if you read “I LOVE PARIS IN THE SPRINGTIME”, then you are wrong…read it carefully!

If you read the blank part, you’ll see the word “OPTICAL”, but when you read the coloured part, you see the word “ILLUSION”.

Depending how you read it, you will see the word “Good” or the word “Evil”.
There are other illusions you can check out on this site. Also, do you remember those Stereogram images? Those hidden 3-D pictures that could be seen in a seemingly random pattern? Well, check this site out for some Stereogram optical illusions.
