After almost a year since the introduction of the Nintendo Wii to the world, many people have been intrigued by the uniqueness of the system, especially the usage of the Nintendo wireless controller, dubbed the Wiimote. At which time, people from the homebrew and modding community have come up with creative ways to utilize the Wiimote for other applications in which they weren’t originally meant for. Essentially, the Wiimote is a Bluetooth device which detects infrared signals and has an accelerometer to determine speed.
