Desktop Tower Defence

Whenever I was bored and on my computer, I’d usually play flash games because they were easy to play but REALLY addictive! Who would’ve thought that games with simple graphics and mechanics could be so fun! I remember when I was in highschool, I played a lot of strategy and puzzle games like Tetris and Minesweeper. I usually like competing against other people or trying to achieve personal best scores…but for the most part, I think it was to kill time. Recently I came across this flash game called Desktop Tower Defence and the concept seemed simple enough. Your objective is to build defences around your desk and eliminate the different waves of “creeps” before they can cross the other side of the desk. You earn gold when you eliminate creeps, which inturn can be used to purchase different weapons and upgrades to strengthen your defences.

Though the concept seems simple enough, it gets increasingly tougher to eliminate the creeps as they come at you in greater numbers, faster speed and immunity to specific attacks. While I was playing, I was testing out different strategies and defensive configurations and got really into the game. The next thing I know, I had played for 4 hours?! I decided to call it night or else I’d never would’ve gotten any sleep! You can click on the image of the game and it’ll link you to the game, but be forewarned, it’s ADDICTIVE! =)
