So I had a couple of friends over and we were watching a few movie previews online since we were bored. As we were searching for trailers, my friend Ryan told me that he saw the trailer for the new comedy, Be Kind Rewind starring Jack Black and Mos Def. My first impression was that it’ll probably be another generic comedy with Jack Black since it seems as though it’s either hit-or-miss with his movies. Then I watched the preview:

All of us were laughing like CRAZY when we watched the preview. I definitely thought it was a unique idea of having the two characters act out the movies that they had mistakenly erased. You can see they recreate old favourites like Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Driving Miss Daisy, RoboCop, Rush Hour 2, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Boyz n the Hood, and The Lion King. However, in this day in age, I didn’t think that videostores rented out VHS cassettes anymore. I’m actually wondering if kids today actually KNOW what a VHS cassette even is! =) Anyhow, I’m definitely hoping this movie will be good…it’s expected to be released on January, 25, 2008.
