On Midnight September 25th, 2007, Bungie Studios and Microsoft released one of the most highly anticipated videogames of the year, Halo 3. As you can tell from the video, there was plenty of hype, media and fans eagerly awaiting the release of the new game. Early reviews from gaming sites like IGN and Gamespot have rated Halo 3 a 9.5 out of 10, which definitely has me intrigued about how good it really is.

Though I’m not much of a Microsoft console fan (never owned an XBox), they make a strong case for you to go out and buy an XBox 360 just to play THIS game! Microsoft definitely knows how to excite fans and get them hyped up to play the next incarnation of Halo. I’m sure there are plenty of kids and adults out there as we speak playing as Master Chief against the Covenant and Flood. It’s sad to say that if Sony doesn’t get their act together and bring out their AAA titles fast, this Console war will definitely be a two-horse race.
